We are delighted to welcome our new COO
As part of our green growth journey, we have further strengthened Lundsby Renewable Solutions’ organization. We are pleased to welcome Bo Nielsen as our new COO. Bo will start on 1 August 2023 and will have overall responsibility for managing and securing our projects both nationally and internationally in accordance with our growth strategy. Bo will set the course and lead and, not least, expand the project organization with additional competencies and continued strengthening of Lundsby’s growth and internationalization. Bo will also act as an important team player in the organization and be part of the management team in the Executive Board.
Bo replaces Gert Rosenquist, who will move to a newly created position as CTO in the Design & Technology department, where Gert will anchor Lundsby’s knowledge and be responsible for best practice and assessment of new as well as existing technologies and partners that are part of the company’s portfolio.
Bo is married to Mie and they live in Thisted, together with their daughter, just outside Thy National Park. They live in rural surroundings and close to the famous coastal area of Cold Hawaii from Nr. Vorupør to Hanstholm.
Bo has 30 years of experience in delivering commercial projects, ranging from buildings, industrial automation to production facilities for the grain, seed, feed and food industries. Projects ranging from single production lines to complete greenfield turnkey projects all over the world.
For the past five years, Bo has led the transformation of Cimbria A/S’s business unit, with several legal entities, into an operating model with a regional set-up with functional support for the commercial part of the business in order to deliver on customer requirements and expectations. In the process, Bo, in the role of Project Director EMEA &APAC, has united project management units across seven countries into ”One team, one culture, one toolbox”. Which ensured better uniformity and cooperation across countries.
Bo holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering in Aarhus. He also holds a diploma from Life Achiever module 1-4 & High performance module 5 in personal leadership – focusing on mindset and people skills.
