In Outrup near Varde, five local farmers have joined forces to invest in an Biogas plant made by Lundsby. The plant is the second ecological plant of its kind in Denmark and expected to process 125,000 tons of biomass a year and thus deliver green energy to 4,300 households and, at the same time, reduce CO² emissions by 7,600 tons a year.

The process involved weekly meetings with representatives of Lundsby – meetings during which we discussed the project and exchanged thoughts and ideas. It was crucial to us to have a partner who we could trust would listen to our input.
