Growth continues: New CEO to ensure a breakthrough abroad for Jutlandic biogas developer
As part of an ambitious growth strategy, Niels Pedersen will in August become the new CEO of Lundsby. As CEO, he will also have to ensure that the Jutlandic biogas developing company becomes a success on the international market.
Biogas is more and more gaining a footing in Denmark and Lundsby, which has experienced significant growth over the last year, is feeling it. The positive development that the company in Løgstrup is facing has also speeded up vast dreams of internationalization. The company has therefore now appointed a new CEO to head and spread the green biogas solutions abroad.
Niels Pedersen used to be CEO/Partner at Accurate Products; he will now be the CEO at Lundsby, and he looks forward to performing the task:
– I am very happy to become a member of Lundsby, a company that is starting an ambitious adventure of growth abroad. Together with the position as CEO, I also assume the responsibility for a sound company with great potential for international success. This is, to a great extent, due to the company’s competencies and references as well as the owners’ and the management’s ambitious support of globalization and growth, says the newly appointed CEO Niels Pedersen.
The CEO has a background in areas like sales and planning as well as comprehensive experience with the building of process plants all over the world. During his entire career, Niels Pedersen has dealt with strategies and management in project-oriented international companies like ABB, APV, Anhydro (now SPX flow), and Gaintec – in addition, he is a member of the boards of e.g. Daniit and Accurate Products.
More people to ensure continued growth
Except for the international breakthrough, the growth strategy of Lundsby also focuses on extending the present customer segment and scaling the company’s so-called turnkey projects. With regard to this, the new CEO plans to increase the number of employees as an important way to ensure continued growth:
– Although the company has experienced increased growth over the last years, we have not reached our goal yet. We are still facing a huge growth potential and, among other things, it means that I expect to recruit even more employees – locally, nationally and on new markets – during the time to come, Niels Pedersen concludes.
Lundsby has since 2019 doubled its number of employees, and today, the company has more than 30 employees at the head office in Løgstrup.
